This one was a big job. Twenty-two full-grown arborvitae running along the property line - thick, tall, and crowding right up against the utility lines overhead. That kind of setup is a real problem. Trees and power lines don't mix, and a row that size takes over fast.

Here's what we were working with - a dense wall of arborvitae that had outgrown its space and needed to come out completely. Not trimmed, not pruned down. Gone. The homeowner wanted a clean slate, and that's exactly what we delivered.

We took down all 22 trees and ground every stump flush with the ground. Start to finish, the whole job wrapped up in 6 hours. No dragging it out over multiple days, no mess left behind. That kind of efficiency matters - especially when you're dealing with trees close to active utility lines where the work needs to be controlled and precise.

What you're left with after a job like this is open, usable yard space. No more blocked sightlines, no more worrying about branches reaching toward the lines, and no stumps to mow around. The property goes from overgrown and problematic to wide open. It's a night-and-day difference that the homeowner can actually use.

If you've got a row of trees or a single problem tree that's grown past the point of managing, removal paired with stump grinding is the clean solution. It's not always the first option people consider, but when trees are near utilities or have simply outgrown the space, it's often the right call.
